Being PCI compliant is a continuous process as the standards of the payment card industry are constantly evolving to ensure the security of cardholder’s data. In fact, ECS has been audited by ControlCase and found to be in compliance with requirements of Payment Card Data Security Standard version 2.0 as per report compliance issued on April 4, 2014. The Company achieved level 1 PCI compliance, the highest level companies can achieve. With this, ECS shall be required to adhere to the highest security standards for processing credit card information.
Edmundo R. Lim, the Assistant Vice President of the Company’s Point of Sale Network Department spearheaded the team in achieving this compliance. “We surmount innovation. We just got certified as Level 1.0 Compliant by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. And we will continue our compliance so our customers can put their confidence in us,” he said. Together with the following PCI team members, ECS was able to surpass the overwhelming challenges of data security standards.
